Every campus has its pros and cons, and the one where I currently study is no exception. As a student, I’ve had plenty of good experiences here, but there are also some downsides that I think are worth sharing. After all, we all want to study in a comfortable environment, right? So here are a couple of weaknesses I’ve noticed on my campus.
1. Facilities Aren’t Always Equal📉
Some of the buildings are nice and modern, but the faculty building where I study still feels lacking. The classrooms get pretty hot, and even though the tuition is around 4 million IDR, we don’t get air conditioning. My class only has one fan, and there’s no smart board to make lessons easier to follow.
2. A Campus Website That’s Not Very Reliable🌐
Since everything is going digital nowadays, I think universities should really step up their online services. Unfortunately, the website at my campus still crashes or shows errors, especially during important times. For example, when paying tuition, the system often shows “unpaid” even though the money has already been transferred. This messes up our course registration since we can’t continue until the payment status is updated.
Still, despite these weaknesses, I think studying here is a valuable experience. I just hope that in the future the facilities, administration, and digital services will get better, so students like me can feel more comfortable and make the most of our time at university.💗
